World Health Organization withdrawal

The US began withdrawal from the WHO via executive order on Jan 20, 2025. Implementation of withdrawal requires a 12-month notice period.

This action has been completed. The work now is reversal.

Detail

Day-One EO directed the State Department to notify the WHO Director-General of US withdrawal and to halt US contributions. Reversing is similarly executive-action only; does not require Senate ratification.
