The CBP One mobile app — the primary legal pathway for asylum-seekers to schedule border appointments — was terminated within hours of inauguration. Pre-scheduled appointments were canceled.

CBP One was a Biden-era tool allowing asylum-seekers to schedule orderly appearances at US land ports of entry. Termination immediately stranded tens of thousands of people with existing appointments. Subsequent EOs narrowed asylum eligibility at the southern border. Reversal requires a new executive action plus a rebuilt technical platform.
