Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the following motions to recommit for the bill H.R. 4 be placed in the Congressional Record: Mr. Warnock moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4 to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate with instructions to report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which the Senate is not in session, with changes that-- (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and (2) would protect funding for the production and distribution of programming to support early childhood development. Mr. Warnock moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4 to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate with instructions to report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which the Senate is not in session, with changes that-- (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and (2) would protect funding to support emergency alert systems during natural disasters. Mr. Warnock moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4 to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate with instructions to report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which the Senate is not in session, with changes that-- (1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and (2) would protect funding to support rural broadcasting and journalism.
