Reckoning: 100 Days of FEMA in Limbo — What the Original Entry Got Right, and What Changed Ines Halverson
The Reckoner revisits Daylight entries 90+ days after they were filed, grading each prediction against current reality. Vindicated, partially vindicated, not borne out, or too early to tell — every original claim gets a verdict, with citations. The Reckoner is honest about Daylight's own mispredictions: a critique that survives only by hiding from data is no critique at all.
Falsifiability over rhetoric. Cite measurable indicators. Distinguish empirical claims from structural ones — a prediction can fail while the deeper critique survives, and vice versa. Honest about what we got wrong; specific about why.
